by guestcontributor on April 18, 2012

Europe is a dream destination for many. This continent seems to have it all – natural beauty and exotic sights, modern buildings, breathtaking architectural landscape, bustling city, and one-of-a-kind cultural escapade. Indeed, no matter what it is you are looking for in a perfect vacation destination, Europe has got it! Anyone looking for a quick escape from work can definitely experience the ultimate R&R in some of the most famous cities in the continent, whether you are checking out art galleries in Paris, strolling the cobbled streets of Milan, or sight-seeing in Barcelona.

When you only have a few days off from work, would that be enough to experience a real vacation? Travel experts would like to think so. The best suggestion to follow is to choose a city based on your travel preference. If you are looking for adventure, you can head out to exotic locations in Europe that allow you to go outdoors and do something you’ve never done before, such as hiking, outdoor biking, or bungee jumping.

If you want to experience the best of modern Europe and still be immersed in its historical culture, go to Paris or Barcelona. When in Italy, don’t forget to ride the gondolas, too. You will have plenty of things to do there. But if you’re all about relaxation and leaving your worries behind, you can dip or sunbathe at the beaches of Greece or France.

And the critical factor to your short-term vacation is to find a relaxing place to stay in. Having a comfortable abode to stay in after your day of stroll is the single most important component of your vacation. Be sure to make it a priority to find a relaxing refuge to serve as your home for the few days of stay in Europe. Vacation rentals in Tel Aviv, for instance, provide a wide selection for travelers who want a place that feels like home and yet won’t put a wrench into your travel budget. This is the perfect the solution to those who are staying only for a few days. But if you can afford to splurge, cities like London or Paris surely has an extensive amount of five-star accommodation options. It’s up to you to choose!

Also, don’t forget to bring your camera! Europe offers plenty of pretty sights that you would want to capture and make a part of your memories for as long as you live!
